History of the Phoenix Isle
The history of the Phoenix Isle is steeped in a great many rumours and legends. Some believe there are many timelines, others believe there to be just one. This describes the most commonly believed timeline and all the information that is freely available. Those of you who are creating starting characters within the system have the knowledge contained within.
The Empire
The Empire is currently ruled by the one simply known as The Empress. For as long as anyone can remember, there has been a ruler of the Empire under this name and no specific names, other than the original Empress, can be found.
It is comprised of three different races: Dwarves, Elves and Humans. Although initially created by the Humans, the Elves and the Dwarves have both been subjugated and have become integral parts of the Empire. They harbour no animosity towards the Humans, and instead work with them to form a long-lasting peace.
